Your Time to Thrive Programme (Adults)
An evidence-led, practical programme solely for adults which encourages and facilitates personal growth and development as well as improving knowledge and skills to be prepared for any career opportunities that lay ahead. We aim to offer a pathway to support adults to re-enter education and the workforce.
Why?
Research suggests that adults will have a desire to learn as long as they see the value of what they’re learning. For example, learning a skill that will help them to build capacity to improve their lives, fulfil their aspirations, or advance their career.
A number of studies have shown that adult learning is good for mental health and overall happiness as adults have a greater sense of identity, purpose and sense of accomplishment. Adult learning can help individuals form strong social connections within their community and the opportunity to socialise and interact with other adults, reducing the risk of isolation and loneliness. Studies have shown that adult learning can improve confidence, self-esteem, mental health, and wellbeing. Adult learning provides new skills which, in turn, can create employment and life opportunities, helping people to fulfil their ambitions and inspire others to do the same.
What?
With 10+ years’ experience of teaching adults, we understand the importance of creating a warm, safe and welcoming environment where sessions are fun, highly engaging and practical.
