Cooking up new skills with families

We’re delighted to have won a grant from the Community Foundation for Merseyside on behalf of The ACC Liverpool Group Foundation to work with families in L8. Together we’ll share skills in food education, budgeting, cooking and family connections through food.The project builds on our Your Time to Thrive programme, helping families grow in confidence, community, and practical know-how. Can’t wait to get started!

Community Foundation for Merseyside‘s vision is to enrich the lives of people in Merseyside and through them develop and grow united, thriving, and prosperous communities. Their mission is to provide strategic grant-making that meets the needs of local communities, placing them as the partner of choice for philanthropists and funding partners, and the primary grant-maker for the communities they serve.

The ACC Liverpool Group operates the M&S Bank Arena, Exhibition Centre Liverpool and ACC Liverpool and helps put Liverpool on the world stage.

Their foundation seeks to encourage local community groups and voluntary organisations to apply for grants for projects aimed at supporting and targeting key community groups and diverse communities. In particular they are looking to support LGBTQ+, minority and hard to reach groups, refugee communities, music initiatives and initiatives targeting food poverty and the cost of living crisis.
